ABOUT

Raas is the name they prefer under either form, though Kael is used only in their shop so as to not confuse their customers or employees nor give away that both male and female forms belong to the same person. They have the ability to change their appearance to suit their personal preference or their owners when they are bound in a pact. Due to their Hellhound nature, they sport a collar in both human and animal forms, it usually takes the appearance of a day collar unless they want to make it obvious of the collar itself.

Raas is a very observant individual, quietly watching someone from afar or putting that hellish charm to good use and learning more about someone in their space. They like to push buttons and see what sets someone off, being very much interested in human nature and their emotions. They think themselves better than humans or other hellhounds, taking great pleasure in causing fear in the hearts of man. Even greater pleasure in killing them or making them suffer as they once did to them years ago.

When an owner comes along to claim them, they obey their every wish no matter how much it might conflict with their own ideals. Remaining loyal to them until their pact is up and coming to their defense when the time calls for it. Will even attack harassers with ease if their owner shows they're uncomfortable, Raas has no regrets with killing, even if their owner might.

In terms of affection or sex; Raas is very open to them, enjoying the chance to explore their own likes and dislikes in the bedroom or other situations. If you're attractive in any shape or form, there is a 90% chance Raas already has you in their sights. They are a very experienced lover and loves to explore their partner's likes, be it vanilla or kinky. Raas melts at any form of affection, its the quickest way to earn their trust and loyalty outside pacts, though there is a bit of a brick wall you'd have to climb for them to allow themselves that. While they prefer to keep such affection behind closed doors, they don't mind showing it off to make others jealous.

Due to their hellhound nature, they are capable of partial and full shifting. Their bestial wolf-like form is that of a black wolf, larger than their earthly counterpart with flames around their paws and glowing pupil-less eyes. They are immortal to a degree; only their creator has the ability to kill them. They have accelerated healing, increased stamina, strength, and speed. The outline of their wolf form is almost like smoke, especially from afar. They can control the flames surrounding their paws to either be deadly or harmless.

HISTORY

Raas was forged into being some several thousand years ago by Lucifer. One of the favorites of theirs until they were accidentally summoned to the human world as a pup. A voice has since been speaking to them since their arrival. They've since given them the nickname 'Enoch' because saying it's true name would make them sound like they've lost their mind or were talking to demons. ( Which might not be too off. ) 'Enoch' has since been guiding them and watching over them over the years. At first, Raas didn't have a proper human form and in the beginning was always either a black wolf or a dog, being omens of death to the humans of the area.

Their first owner, an old witch, kept them around as a guard dog of sorts, ordered to protect the graveyard the witch owned and hunt lost souls that didn't cross over. It was then that they were taught they might be able to appear human and 'Enoch' confirmed this, offering advice where the witch's fell short. The first form being 'Kael', their female form. It wasn't until the witch had died that they were free from their bond that they took the chance to explore the forest nearby till they got to the next town. Taking on the shape of a black wolf, they were easily spooked when hunters tracked them and tried to kill them, lashing out fire in their defense which led to a forest fire which only spooked them more. Even though fire couldn't hurt them, they still ran, paw steps leaving scorched earth in their wake and sparks that only expanded the fire until they found safety in a cave. They watched the fire decimate the land while 'Enoch' tried to offer comfort and tips that they could control that. It would take a hundred years or so to master that and not burn anything if they willed it not to.

Their second owner, a vengeful demon, kept them to help terrorize a few towns and roads, having them first start as an omen of death. They were together for a couple hundred years till the demon moved on to other creatures to do their bidding. It was at this point they thought themselves better than humans, not caring about their well-being and hunted them like sheep. 'Enoch' didn't approve of this, of course, but not much could be done on their end.

Their third owner, an orphan child who found an old book on spells, summoned them as a means of them playing her protector. Raas obeyed the kid's orders and looks back on the memory of her quite often, it was then that they learned their male form. They took the appearance of a wolf to keep the other kids that would bully her and strange men with ill intentions at bay. Not caring if they bit their enemy's hand or did serious harm in order to protect their owner. They were together till her passing in a home Raas found for her, till she grew old and died peacefully in her sleep. These were the years that restored his interest in humanity outside of mindlessly killing them. Trying to be more human in her memory and 'Enoch' approved of this.

Their fourth owner, a desperate shopkeeper, summoned them on accident while reading aloud some ancient Latin. Raas stayed due to their curiosity towards the books the man sold. The man kept them as a guard dog since their shop would be broken into in the middle of the night in exchange for teaching them how to read and write. Raas enjoyed their time with the man, learning rather quickly, hell hounds were given the knowledge of fluent spoken language of the world by their otherworldly companion, in their case, 'Enoch'. It wasn't until the man was murdered in the street on his way home, that Raas lashed out with fire, hunting and tormenting the group that murdered him. They kept the man's shop as their own since he didn't have living family left to take over for him. The White Rabbit and Wolf has kept the same name since then in honor of the former shopkeeper since Raas never had the heart to change it.

Since then, they've taken owners from being summoned. Mostly curious humans passing over old spellbooks or reading aloud ancient Latin. They were able to keep a spell around the bookshop, thanks to 'Enoch', that kept it from burning down or being broken into. Amongst the new owners, they've learned many job skills held by their owners and more on human nature. Allowing themselves to take the appearance of being human on a near-constant basis, enjoying the ever-changing fashion and foods of the world.

Now, Raas still works at the bookshop, having since updated it for a more modern look and even more spacious appearance. Adding in another floor and a cafe, that they have since learned to apply the many things about coffee and alcohol from their travels too. Its a popular location for people looking to escape and read or hang out with friends. They currently have no owner to claim them.

Every once in awhile, Azazel checks in when he's summoned. He's a bit of fresh air when he visits, often telling Raas that they're are more than welcome to come home when they're ready. Lucifer, however, has yet had the opportunity to visit but Raas understands how busy they can be.
